How could I forget that we also celebrated with a killer dinner made by moi. This-getting-married-learning-to-be-domestic thing is going pretty well if I do say so myself. Evidence? Birthday dinner below. I wish my photography skills did this meal justice. I made:
-filet mignon using the barefoot contessa's filet of beef au poivre recipe from her "Barefoot in Paris" cookbook. (So easy even I could do it)
-herbed pearled israeli couscous
-a green salad made entirely from my garden (Well, except for the feta)
-parmesan rolls
I can't say that it beats a birthday dinner at Em's (our usual celebration restaurant), but it was tasty.
(Sorry another crappy instagram picture. Promise I'll blog real pictures one day)
