The Farm

Liz and I have a client that has since become a friend and their family lives on an enormous farm property that is just stunning. We call it "The Farm" and it feels like a second home sometimes because we spend so much time there. On days when we are less busy, Liz and I go to The Farm, lay by the 1920s spanish tiled pool and sunbathe. Then when we are hungry, we go over to the enormous garden and harvest our lunch - heirloom tomatoes, fresh spinach, japanese eggplant, broccoli rabe, yellow peppers, snap peas, purple and white carrots, peaches; the harvest seems endless. When we're all stuffed with the most delicious vegetables from the fresh, organic soil, we feed the leftovers to the horses. It's pretty darn idyllic and it sure beats answering emails in "the office."
