1. Do you like your job? Really honestly, LIKE it?
2. If so, why? Do you feel fulfilled? Appreciated? Like a value-add? Like you are helping in the larger scheme of things? In the smaller scheme of things? Globally? Locally? Do you feel like your talents are being used? Do you have good benefits? Great vacation time? For what other reasons do you like it?
3. How did you find your path? How did you decide on your job? How did you find your specific job?
4. If you don't like your job, what keeps you at your job? Are their upsides or reasons for staying at a job you don't like? If so, what are yours?
These questions could go on forever, believe me, I could go.on.forever. Instead, I'll spare you. Perhaps Mother Universe will supply me some wisdom, or if you have some, I'll gladly take that too.

do i like my job? sometimes. not usually. if i do like it i never love it.
it's in the right industry. i love graphic design, i just don't love doing what i currently do for graphic design.
so why do i stay here? because i get every other friday off. because i don't have to stay late. because they do 401k matching, and because i have great insurance.
but i also stay here because i'm trying to figure out what else to do. i'm trying to get up the courage to start my own thing, to sell things i make and design freelance, but since that is scary i stay at my job.
