Life isn't a spectator sport.

Saturday was a day of fun for Billy, Kat and I. Due to Kat's much-too-soon and much-dreaded departure to the Gateway to the West (a.k.a the Big Lou, the Ghetto, the Hood), we decided to utilize all the remaining time to enjoy the rich surroundings of Utah.

We started the day with some donuts and sun-time at the local Steiner pool with Lindsay Lark. There's nothing like hangin in the wading pool with the pregnant ladies.

Then it was off to Antelope Island. Although, there was some concern that the Island might be a bust, we said "what the hay" and did it anyway. A short 45 minutes later a slight stench as we drove onto the island made us concerned, but the dry heaving quickly dissipated as we made it around the island to the fresh shores and white sandy beaches of the Great Salt Lake. The sunset made it a sight to behold. Below is documented proof that the island wasn't that gross and that Billy's a good photographer.

I'm so slippery.

Billy likes this picture cause he thinks he looks like a fighter. Some guys at 24hr Fitness put this idea in his head.

1. steiner is my pool. every day of the summer (every summer) as a child, swim to win baby. followed by a full day in the sun with mother, mothers friends and my friends. Stiener. so...good choice.
2. never been to antelope island, and it looks like i need to take a trip. and find myself a boyfriend in which to take pictures in the sunset. you are making the east coast look real crappy.
love you
